Alex is a student at Edmonds Community College who really seems to know what he's doing, or at least he does when he gets dressed in the morning. Everything about him suggest that he does as he pleases, from the weathered condition of his suede kicks to the disheveled manner in which he wears his shirts and cut-offs. Speaking of cut-offs, I appreciate his decision to pair cut-offs with a sweater; it's a look that's almost essentially Washingtonian, more fashionable than socks and sandals, but equally as effective for handling the fickle weather patterns of the Pacific Northwest.
